Job overview

Bishop Burton College is one of the leading land-based Colleges in the UK with strong and sustained growth in learner numbers. We have undergone a multi million pound campus development programme including significant investment in state of the art teaching and learning facilities, sports facilities, a commercially run farm and an international standard equestrian facility at our campus near Beverley in East Yorkshire. Working within the Centre for Sport & Fitness team, you will deliver sports therapy to our elite athletes on our rugby, football and netball academy programmes. You will use your pre-existing experience to deliver and lead the physio and rehabilitation service. This will include provision of physiotherapy at sporting fixtures and events, training camps and competitions. We also require some work to support sport activation in the local community. As such, you may be required to work some evenings and weekends on occasion. Qualified to degree level, or equivalent in Physiotherapy or rehabilitation you will also hold a pitch-side first aid qualification. You will also be experienced in working within a sport related environment delivering injury prevention schemes. You should be able to work well as part of a team, with a strong work ethos to ensure excellent customer satisfaction. We all work hard to ensure that our performance both on and off the field gives our students a competitive edge and makes their experience at Bishop Burton the best it can be. If you would like to work as part of a brilliant and dynamic team, we would like to hear from you!
