The successful candidate should be able to provide excellent personnel skills with experience of managing staff absence, demonstrate data management expertise and work well under pressure in a busy school environment.  A strong commitment to continuous improvement of provision is vital, as is a desire to be part of our drive for excellence.

Fitzalan High School is a mixed, non-selective, non-denominational secondary school with sixth form situated in Cardiff, South Wales, UK. There are approximately 1,440 students at the school between the ages of 11-19. The school belongs in a partnership with eight feeder primary schools in the local area.  

Formerly known as Fitzalan Technical High School, Fitzalan High School was founded in 1953, changing to its current name in 1968 when it became a comprehensive school. The school has state-of-the-art sports facilities on campus, including a swimming pool, two fitness suites and a multi-use dance studio.

Fitzalan High School wants to nurture ambitions and build upon individuals confidence and self-belief in order for them to achieve success in everything they do. Fitzalan High School holds the Nurture Quality Mark and works together with parents to ensure that students are encouraged and supported throughout their school and home life. A wide range of extra-curricular activities are available for pupils to get involved in and develop their skills, ranging from sports clubs to music lessons, while the school's active Student Council encourages leadership.
