Moulsham High School has an excellent academic record with outcomes consistently being well above national. We also possess a genuine commitment to the wellbeing and development of staff and high expectations of student behaviour.  We received a glowing Ofsted report in March 2019.

We are seeking to appoint an inspirational Standards and Progress Leader to take up post in January 2020. This is a fantastic opportunity to help shape and influence the direction of the schools already outstanding pastoral team. 

As a Standards and Progress Leader you will be a member of the school’s Executive team and will be allocated a reduced teaching timetable to allow you time to support and monitor students effectively. Standards and Progress Leaders are supported by a team of Pastoral managers specialising in safeguarding, wellbeing and behaviour.

The successful candidate will:

• Model best practice at all times.

• Have the ability to mix the operational aspects of pastoral work with a strategic vision.

• Have a record of raising achievement. 

• Be able to inspire and challenge groups and individuals.

• Be a team player with excellent communication skills.
