We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated professional to join our team at Foxford School as the Strategic SEND Lead. Leading a small team, you will be responsible for ensuring there is appropriate SEND and pastoral support to students across the school. You will develop plans to help students overcome barriers to learning and support students to achieve their full potential. Working closely with the SENCO you will be involved in inter-agency meetings including EHCP and SEND reviews and will have responsibility for providing, and co-responsibility for co-ordinating, exam access arrangements.  

You will already have experience of managing people and working with children and will be familiar with safeguarding policies and procedures in schools. You should have excellent interpersonal skills and be able to build positive relationships with students, parents and staff.

The salary for this role is £19,164 - £23,966 pa pro rata (£22,183 - £27,741 pa full time equivalent), working 37 hours per week, term time plus 1 week (39 weeks per year).

Headteacher - Alison Gallagher

Foxford Community School joined the Castle Phoenix Trust in October 2018, who are committed to supporting the vision and values of the new headteacher. Foxford is a co-educational maintained secondary school situated in Longford, Coventry. The school is for students aged 11-18 and features a sixth form with capacity for 200 students.

The new headteacher started at Foxford in October 2020 including new recruits to her leadership team. They are passionate about ensuring all students have a good education.
