Required for an immediate start

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a creative, caring and hardworking professional to join our highly successful and expanding pastoral team. The successful candidate will provide a complementary service to the teaching and pastoral staff in the school: addressing the needs of children who require help to overcome barriers to learning both inside and outside the school in order to achieve their full potential; offering advice and guidance on their choices for further education, employment or training.

The successful candidate will hold or be willing to work towards a level 6 or higher careers qualification, such as the Qualification in Careers Development (QCD) or equivalent, or the workbased Diploma in Career Guidance and Development.

You will be joining a caring and happy school with a passion for improving life chances. All staff have career and professional development pathways, designed to match your career stage and aspirations. As part of the Central RSA Academies Trust, there are opportunities to work on developing Trust-wide priorities. We take pride in the school’s academic achievement, whilst being firmly committed to Inclusion and Every Child Matters agenda. Therefore, if you are passionate about education and enjoy a challenge, this is the role for you.

Informal visits to the Academy are encouraged and welcomed, please contact the HR department on either AAHR@rsaacademy.org or 0121 5561351 to arrange a suitable time. Further information about this role, our Academy and the Central RSA Academies Trust, are available from our website at www.rsaacademy.org

An application form and accompanying letter should be completed and returned to AAHR@rsaacademy.org no later than Monday 7th October 2019 by 10.00am
