Student Enterprise Manager F/T 52 weeks 37 hours per week Salary: £35,000
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for the post of Student Enterprise Manager to provide implement and embed a careers academy strategy for all curriculum areas at Seevic College. The post holder will line manager a small team of Student Advisors to develop and maintain the high quality inclusive support to students by offering and promoting professional, cohesive and responsive support, information, advice and guidance.
The College is going through a period of accelerated change and this post will be instrumental to support the Colleges ethos of promoting its values, Passport to Careers and employability skills. All of which are designed to enhance the student experience and prepare them for their next step, whether that be internal progression, apprenticeships, Higher Education or the world of work.
The successful candidate:
• Will have significant experience of working in a student support environment.
• Have exceptional communication skills
• Experience of supporting the introduction of a careers academy model is essential
• Experience of working as part of a safeguarding team and been responsible for referrals to external agencies
• Experience of chairing disciplinary meetings
• Experience of working in grade 2 or above Further Education College
• Have a Higher Education qualification

The college was formed in 2017 as a result of a merger between Palmers College (Grays) and Seevic College (Benfleet) and the last 12 months has been a period of very positive change, growth and investment.
