We are looking for skilled and enthusiastic Student Improvement Champion to support students from disadvantaged backgrounds who are underperforming in Mathematics. The role may be suitable for someone who is considering a career in teaching.

We are looking for someone who: 

  • Has experience of working with or the desire to support young people with a high level of need;
  • Has a desire to promote high expectations and aspirations for young people;
  • Enjoys helping young people to overcome barriers to learning in order to raise attainment and achievement. 

Candidates must have minimum of GCSE English and Maths grades A*-C.

The position is for 37 hours per week, term-time with one additional staff-training day. The position is at Grade 6 (Points 8 to 13) which attracts a salary of £16,654.30 - £18,387.79 per annum (depending on experience). 

The position also comes with membership of a comprehensive Healthcare Benefits Plan.
