Location: Newport Pagnell campus
Hours: 35 hours: 8.30 am – 4.00 pm (½ lunch)
Contract: Term time only
The successful applicant will act as a ‘parent ambassador’ and lead communication between the school and the wider community, developing community cohesion. This includes working with students, parents and staff from diverse cultural, religious, linguistic and deprived backgrounds, improving social and learning relationships across members of the school community. The dual aspect of this role aims to ensure that the inclusion, well-being and educational outcomes of students are improved and vulnerable communities are helped to integrate in both school and the local community.
The school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and expects all staff to share this commitment. An enhanced DBS will be required.

About Ousedale School
Ousedale School is a mixed 11-18 comprehensive school situated on two campuses in attractive grounds in Newport Pagnell and Olney, to the north of Milton Keynes. We serve a partially rural catchment area. There are 2000 pupils on roll, including a Sixth Form of 400. Newport Pagnell campus accommodates 1600 11-18 pupils and Olney campus 600 11-16 pupils. Sixth Form courses for pupils from both campuses are based at Newport Pagnell.

Additionally, the school’s Sixth Form regularly achieves the highest proportion of the top A*/B grades in the region. We endeavour to remain in the top 20% of school’s nationally in everything we do.
