We are seeking an experienced Student Receptionist to join our caring and supportive community. The role will require a willingness to work closely with students. The main responsibilities of the role is to provide first aid, so a First Aid qualification and experience is required. You will also be responsible for daily attendance and be required to provide administrative support to our Senior Leadership and Teaching staff. This role would suit someone from a nursing or similar background. The successful applicant will display proven communication and interpersonal, organisational and data entry skills, who can work well independently and in a team environment. Ideally, you will have experience and/or an understanding of the role of a school officer within a busy school environment. High level experience with Microsoft Suite is a must, particularly 0365. Applicants with experience and knowledge in the use of a school database and systems such as eMinerva and other BCE systems will also be highly regarded (eg: Parent Slips, PTO, TimeTabler etc).

St Josephs College Coomera is a Brisbane Catholic Education master planned co-educational College that opened in January 2019. The College is located in Coomera on the Northern Gold Coast, 40 minutes south of the Brisbane CBD.

To be successful in this role you will:

Position Tenure:   Continuing

Weeks Worked:  Up to 52 weeks per year including school holidays

Tenure Duration (If Fixed Term):  

Total Paid Hours (per wk) & Days Required:   38 hours per week - Monday to Friday

Salary Level, Range or Hourly Rate:   School Officer Level 3 - $27.65 per hour

Employment Conditions:   Diocesan Catholic Education Employing Authorities in Queensland Single Interest Agreement 2015-2019

This position involves working with children.  The appointment of successful applicants will be subject to satisfactory employment screening for child related employment in accordance with the law.
