Chatham Grammar (part of The University of Kent Academies Trust) is seeking to appoint a motivated and committed individual to the role of Student Services Assistant. This role is 37 hours per week, for 40 weeks per year. The contract for this role is fixed term, up to one year to cover maternity leave.
The Student Services Assistant provides a welcoming, efficient and effective service to the students of the Academy, dealing with all students and their queries in a professional manner escalating or passing on of information to relevant parties as required.
You will act as the first point of contact for general student enquiries during the school day and manage a range of student support activities. You will also support the wider administration team.
The successful candidate will have a good level of education, have an ability to communicate effectively with students, staff and parents in a calm and professional manner. Experience of working in a school environment or student focused setting is desirable.
