Student Services Officer/Administration Support
Salary: B3 SCP 7-11 (£19,554 - £21,166 pro rata)
Actual starting salary: £16,650 (term time only +5 days) 37 hours per week
This post will be subject to a 6 month probationary period.
Elliott Hudson College is seeking to appoint an assistant to provide support to Student Services. A positive outlook and high standards of personal presentation are very important. The successful candidate will also have an excellent telephone manner, an aptitude for working under pressure and an appreciation of our strict rules of confidentiality. They will possess a compassionate manner and a desire to work closely with young people.
The following qualities are desirable but not essential:
- Experience of working in a school environment
- A first aid qualification
Key Skills:
- Friendly and well organised team-player.
- The ability to work using own initiative.
- Uses good interpersonal skills to work effectively with staff and students.
- Able to prioritise workloads.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and SIMS.
- To work in partnership with colleagues across The GORSE Academies Trust.
The purpose of this role is to provide support to current and potential future students of the college and also high quality administrative support to the pastoral team of the college.
