Scale 5 (Scale range 22-25)  Actual annual salary: £ 17,768 

Pattern of hours will be 37 hours each week 8.00am to 4.00pm with a 30 minute unpaid lunch each day and an early finish of 3.30pm one day each week 

Term time only, plus 5 days

We are seeking to appoint, with effect from September, an enthusiastic and adaptable Student Support and Transition Manager at this successful, oversubscribed comprehensive Academy. The successful candidate will have high expectations and an unwavering commitment to all students ensuring their transition from Primary right through to Post 16 runs as smoothly as possible.  In addition, you will provide outstanding support, encouragement, collaboration and mentoring to all students in their key stage.  This role is integral to student wellbeing and achievement. You will report directly to a designated Head of Year in KS4 with oversight from the Assistant Headteacher who will provide the strategic direction for this role.  You will support the transition process from  KS3 to KS4 and KS4 to KS5,  communicating with our feeder primary schools, parents and staff, and work with the Data Officer and Heads of Year, where necessary, to ensure accurate records are maintained.
