ATP&C Salary Scale 5/6, points 22-28, actual salary £20,109 to £23,951 per annum (depending on experience)

37 hours per week, term time plus 2 weeks (to include 5 INSET days)

The Student Wellbeing and Support Officer will be responsible for the medical needs of pupils whilst in school and provide pastoral and well-being support in order to help reduce absenteeism, improve children’s health and support learning. This person will also provide first aid and minor injury assessment for all members of the school community.

Hours: The normal hours of duty will be 37 hours per week (with a 30 minute unpaid lunch break); typically the working pattern will be similar to below:

Monday 08:00 – 16:00

Tuesday 08:00 – 16:00

Wednesday 08:00 – 16:00

Thursday 08:00 – 15:30

Friday 08:00 – 16:00

Probationary Period: New employees to the school will be required to satisfactorily complete a six-month probationary period of service.
