Student Support Assistant, Shropshire

Due to recent growth we require a Student Support Assistant to work with the College Guardians team in and around the Shropshire area.

Key duties would include visiting students at Schools, Colleges and Universities, attending parent’s meetings when parents are unable to travel from overseas, assisting with the recruitment of host families and arranging transport for students.

This is a part time role working on average 6 hours a week throughout the year, although the hours will predominantly be worked during School term time. A highly flexible approach to working hours is necessary, including evenings and weekends where required. 

Experience of working with children or young adults is essential, along with the ability to work on one’s own initiative.
