About the Opportunity:

Are you looking for an exciting and rewarding new challenge where you can make a difference to young people’s lives?

The Ridgeway School & Sixth Form College are looking to appoint a resourceful, enthusiastic person to join the Student Support Team. You will need a ‘can do’ attitude, enjoy a challenge and seek to encourage change in a young person’s attitude and opportunities. An assertive, robust personality with excellent behaviour management skills are essential to cope in this challenging but rewarding role. Experience of working with young people would be advantageous in this role. There is a possibility of working staff lunch duty which would be an additional ½ hour per day paid at RIDNJC F19 (£14.79 p/h) and includes a free lunch.

About The Ridgeway School & Sixth Form College

The Ridgeway School & Sixth Form College has 1560 students, 200 of whom are in the Sixth Form. The Ridgeway School & Sixth Form College is a coeducational secondary school and sixth form with academy status, located in Wroughton.  

The school was established in 1967 and was the first purpose-built comprehensive school in Wiltshire. We offer GCSEs and BTECs as programmes of study for students, while sixth form students have the option of studying a range of A-levels and further BTECs.   

We are committed to inspiring learners for their future through a vibrant, innovative, and supportive environment where students develop resourcefulness and resilience, accept responsibility, and are challenged to take risks in order to succeed. Maximising individual students’ development and achievement is what every day is about.
