Job overview
We are looking to appoint a Student Support Manager to join our dedicated team at The Hastings Academy.
This important role is pivotal to the Academy Mission, and to providing students with support to help them achieve their full potential. Working collaboratively and supported by the Head of Year, you will have strategic and operational responsibilities to improve attendance and behaviour, and pastoral care. It is therefor crucial the successful candidate has an ability to engage with young people and cares about their happiness and wellbeing.

About The Hastings Academy
The Hastings Academy is a co-educational secondary school for students aged 11-16, located in Hastings, East Sussex. It first opened its doors in 1952 as a secondary school for girls called Hillcrest. In the early 2010s it changed its name and moved to a new purpose-built site.
The Hastings Academy is a smaller-than-average secondary school with around 900 pupils. It is part of the Hastings Academy Trust, a multi-academy trust that operates a number of schools across the region, at both primary and secondary level.
