As the ‘Further Education College of the year 2019’, we are looking to appoint a Student Support Officer to join our successful team to help support and assist with managing student behaviour and encouraging attendance among our learners. The College has been relentless in its efforts to improve the quality of student behaviour and extending support to the learners in a variety of ways. This exciting opportunity is permanent and full-time.

We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and dedicated Student Support Officer who has a can-do attitude and committed to assisting with the development and attendance of our learners.

If you have good communication skills, the ability to work with learners in a way that allows them to be successful at College then we would welcome an application from you.

To be successful you must have a First Aid at Work Certificate and demonstrate the ability to respond to incidents/ accidents when required. You will also ideally hold a GCSE Maths and English at grade C or above and an SIA qualification.

 It has two state of the art campuses in West Bromwich accessible through excellent transport links and, following a successful merger with Cadbury Sixth Form College, has an exciting presence in Birmingham.
