If so we are looking to appoint a highly efficient, enthusiastic and well organised person to join our school as our Student Welfare Administrator.

As a Student Welfare Administrator you will be responsible for the health and wellbeing of our school community. The ability to be organised, prioritise health problems and maintain confidentiality is essential. The successful candidate will be able to work on their own initiative or as part of an effective team and have excellent communication skills.

You will be responsible for:

  • The assessment and treatment of minor illness and injuries to deliver care within the boundaries of the role, focusing on student well being.
  • Inputting and updating student medical information on SIMS.
  • Co-ordination of all government led immunisation programmes (and Staff influenza vaccinations).
  • To help to identify, create and evaluate all medical and student well being policies, communicating with all staff involved. (Medical Conditions, administration of medicines etc).
  • Oversee arrangements for school trips and events including the collation and distribution of necessary paperwork to relevant staff – providing guidance to staff where necessary.
  • Supporting the school with administration tasks including the maintenance of pupil records and documentation
