Job Title: Study Coach


Salary: £20,655 - £23,256 pro rata


Part time / Indefinite Contract 


Location: Various College centres


City of Bristol College have the exciting role of Study Coach to work with young people to improve attendance as well as supporting them to achieve and to progress into work or further learning. As a Study Coach you will deliver tutorials, monitor attendance and progress, provide support and help to ensure that students achieve all elements of their Study programme.


You will be responsible for delivering tutorials as part of a student’s study programme, as well as group sessions and Individual Learning and Progress Reviews. As a Study Coach you will facilitate and enable students to access the full range of College services to enable them to stay in learning and to achieve. You will work collaboratively with curriculum areas, as well as English and Maths teachers, to ensure that our students have everything they need to fulfil their full potential. There will be on the job training available including options to consider a career in teaching.


If you are a motivated and enthusiastic individual, with a passion for student success and wish to start your career in education within a diverse FE environment, then this is the role for you! 


Applicants should be educated to Level 3 and hold GCSE Maths and English Grade C/4 and have experience of managing groups of students, coaching and engaging with students in an educational setting. A good understanding or experience of safeguarding, equality and diversity, health and wellbeing, pastoral support and welfare issues is an advantage.
