STUDY SUPERVISOR

Permanent Post

32.5 hours per week/Term Time only (39 weeks)

Monday to Friday 8am until to 3.15pm 

(including 45 minute lunch break)

Salary Scale E, point 21-24

(£21,984 - £23,802 per annum* pro-rata)

*Actual Salary: £16,848 - £18,240 p.a.

We are looking to appoint a Study Supervisor to join us with effect from 16th April 2018 or as soon as thereafter.

The post holder will supervise students who are without their normal class teacher and is not expected to teach. Previous experience of working in a school environment would be an advantage, as would basic IT skills.

This role would also be an ideal position for someone wishing to gain classroom experience. You will need to have a calm, confident and helpful manner as well as a sense of humour. Good communication skills are required when dealing with students, parents and staff. The successful candidate will need to have a flexible approach to work and be a motivated team player. You will be required to cover PE lessons, so would need to be equipped to carry out this role.
