The Hart School is seeking to appoint a Subject Lead for PSHE to deliver outstanding lessons as well as to have responsibility for the leadership, promotion and development of Personal, Social, Health and Economic Education across the School. 

Responsibilities will include overseeing the provision of relationships and sex education (RSE) under the statutory guidance for schools. 

PSHE is a fundamentally important area of The Hart School curriculum and aims to enable our pupils to have the information, awareness and maturity to make responsible and informed decisions; to recognise that their choices and actions will have consequences and to understand what those consequences might be.

The successful candidate will be passionate about the importance of the PSHE programme and be highly organised. They will demonstrate the ability to lead and develop the staff who deliver PSHE to ensure high quality of teaching, effective use of resources and the highest standards of learning and achievement for all pupils.

About The Hart School

The Hart School is an 11-18, non-selective, oversubscribed school from September 2021 located in Rugeley, Staffordshire. We currently have 1195 students on roll including a growing sixth form of 150 students.

We are part of the growing Creative Education Trust and work closely with a family of schools to raise standards and to enable students to achieve their potential, thereby ensuring students are given the educational opportunity of a lifetime.
