Full time maternity cover • Required from January 2022 for 2 terms

We are looking to appoint an experienced, talented and enthusiastic Teacher of Textiles to lead the subject in this high-performing school. This is a full time maternity cover for 2 terms which could be extended to a full year. 

The successful candidate will teach students through the Senior School from Year 7 to Upper Sixth and must have the capacity or potential to teach Art Textiles at A Level. The successful candidate will be able to communicate a clear passion for the subject to pupils throughout the Senior School and be willing to engage students in a wide variety of co-curricular activities designed to inspire a love of Textiles. The subject has a strong record of success in national competitions such as the annual Festival of Quilts competition and various fashion design competitions including, Wool4school, The Clothes Show and Young Craftsman of the Year. Pupils taking the subject at A Level have taken up places on highly competitive university courses.
