The Computer Science and IT courses are popular and often chosen by more able and dedicated students who love the subject.  We are looking for applicants who have:

• evidence of leadership,

• experience of successfully leading students through GCSE and A Level qualifications,

• a commitment to outstanding teaching and learning.

You will have a love of Computer Science and ability to engage students through your passion.  You will be:

• dynamic,

• keen to develop your teaching practice and that of your team,

• committed to the aims and ethos of a church school.

You will have opportunities to contribute to other subject areas, the pastoral work of the school, and a wide range of extra-curricular activities.

We have a distinctive Christian ethos at Bishop Justus.  Our staff and students take a full and active role in the life of the school.

As part of the Aquinas Trust, we value our staff development and feel every teacher is entitled to be supported in their professional progression.

We know it’s not easy starting a new job, facing new challenges and expectations, and meeting new people.  So at Bishop Justus we will help make that transition easy.  Equality and inclusivity underpin everything we stand for and every person is supported and valued.   'Community' is a word frequently used by our students, staff and parents to describe our school.

Our school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.
