Job overview
Our highly successful Food Technology department is seeking to appoint a Head of Department.
We are looking for an enthusiastic, well qualified, inspirational and highly motivated teacher to deliver Food Technology at Key Stages 3 and 4. This would suit either a newly qualified teacher or a more experienced teacher looking for leadership.
We are able to offer extensive support in career development and progression as well as the opportunity to work with and visit our international partners.
The Academy specialises in Humanities and Global Citizenship which is closely allied to our vision of Christian Education which allows for the development of the whole person. As a Teacher at the Academy you will have a significant role in maintaining and developing the Christian ethos of the Academy.

St Mary Magdalene Academy aims to ensure every individual is valued and cared for, and to help children become responsible citizens of the future.
