About Whitworth Park School and Sixth Form College

Whitworth Park School and Sixth Form College is a mixed, mainstream secondary school located in County Durham. The school has a sixth form and admits students aged 11-18. 

Whitworth Park School and Sixth Form College is a foundation school administered by Durham County Council and Spennymoor Community Learning Trust. The school moved into new buildings in 2014 that were officially opened by Prince Edward, Duke of Kent. The school offers GCSEs, BTECs and Cambridge Nationals as programmes of study for pupils, with some vocational courses offered in conjunction with local colleges.
