Salary range: TMS plus a TLR

We’re looking to appoint a highly motivated subject leader for music (maternity cover) who can inspire our exceptional team of teachers and students and drive them forward to achieve even better results. We have a dedicated and modern teaching area for music lessons which includes two well-equipped classrooms, practice rooms and a recording studio.
You would be responsible for leading the development of our curriculum through Years 7 to 13, including GCSE and A-Level. You will have a strong subject knowledge of music and be able to teach students of all abilities and ages. As well as this you will be highly organised with excellent communication and time management skills, and will actively get involved with our ongoing efforts to become an outstanding school.
With around 1,000 students on roll, we’re a popular school in the heart of Buckinghamshire. We’re fortunate to be based in a diverse, supportive and ever-changing community in Aylesbury and our students are respectful, hardworking and eager to succeed, borne out by our high attendance figures.
