King Edward VI College, Stourbridge is a sixth form college and a member of the Heart of Mercia Multi-Academy Trust.  The college specialises in the delivery of A levels for 16- to 19-year-olds, offering a broad curriculum with extensive enrichment opportunities.  The college is a vibrant, inclusive community with over 2000 students from a variety of cultural and social backgrounds, all united in their enthusiasm for learning.

We seek a part-time subject leader of history of art (0.5 FTE) with an anticipated start date of 1 September 2021. 

The post holder will play a key role in inspiring students to engage with the subject material and to participate actively in lessons.  As a committed and dedicated teacher, the post holder will ensure students benefit from a high-quality learning experience.

Although a postgraduate teaching qualification is preferred, applicants without this qualification are also encouraged to apply.  The college is fully committed to supporting all members of staff through staff development and in-service training.

This is a permanent, part-time post, subject to the conditions of service handbook of the Sixth Form Colleges Association.  Salary will be paid on the Sixth Form Colleges Association teacher staff pay scale, NSP 1 – 9 (£25,570 - £41,732) depending on experience with an additional responsibility allowance of £1371.78 (RA2). The contract will be based on 0.5 FTE minimum fraction.
