Values and vision

Pewsey Vale School espouses traditional values of courtesy, honesty and respect. The school is dedicated to serving the community of Pewsey and surrounding areas, and offers students a broad range of activities outside the classroom.

Tolerance and inclusivity are at the heart of the school's ethos. Teachers want every student to leave as a well-rounded individual who has enjoyed and been enriched by their experiences at Pewsey Vale.

Pewsey Vale is specialist arts college and its media facilities have been expanded to include its own online-access TV channel. The school also has established links with respected academic institutions, including nearby Marlborough College sixth form and Merton College, Oxford.

Ofsted report

“The academy successfully develops students’ literacy skills and encourages them to enjoy reading. Students borrow regularly from a very well equipped library and were enthusiastic about reading, both within and at home. The academy’s approach to developing literacy is making a difference.”
