We are looking for a Subject Leader of Computing in a school which offers excellent opportunities for professional development. The new post-holder will be a strong classroom practitioner with a commitment to achieving the highest standards both academically and in terms of the learning habits and personal dispositions of our students.

Ealing Fields High School is the most recent member of the Twyford Trust family of schools. It was opened as a Free School in 2016 by a group of parents with a strong desire to provide an excellent new school for the South Ealing community, and became part of the Twyford CE Academies Trust on 1st September 2017. This is an exciting opportunity for an innovative teacher and curriculum planner who is looking to take on a role within departmental leadership. Additionally, they will be responsible for the delivery of a rich wider learning offer in computing – the role will also focus on creating a high quality extended school provision. The successful candidate will take responsibility for developing Industry links and ensuring high quality IAG within this field.

Ealing Fields is the smallest of the Trust schools, with only 150 in each Year Group and therefore has a very compact community identity. The school moved to its brand-new permanent sitein Northfields in September 2020 and achieved a Progress 8 score of +1.34 with its first set of public examinations in 2022 which reflects our relentless commitment to providing the best possible education for all students.

The Twyford Church of England Academies Trust (TCEAT) is a compact CoE MAT which comprises four schools in the London Borough of Ealing. The Trust was established in October 2011 to enable an existing School, Twyford CE High School, to build on its successes and look outward to the large number of parents who were eager to become part of its community. Over a 10 year period it launched three new schools Ealing Fields, William Perkin and Ada Lovelace all of which have achieved progress outcomes ranking them in the top 1% of schools nationally, making TCEAT the highest attaining Trust in the UK. TCEAT aims to deliver outstanding education in a comprehensive school setting and embraces the Twyford School motto ‘Life in all its fullness’, encouraging students to use their individual gifts wisely and well. Supported by the London Diocesan Board for Schools (LDBS), the TCEAT operates on collaborative principles with some central services to achieve consistency of provision. The Trust has a highly evolved common curriculum from Yr 7 –Yr 13 which has been devised by staff within the four schools and we have a thriving 6th form co-ordinated across 3 of the school sites. The Trust is also the hub of Teach West London and prides itself on high quality, peer-led CPD within a dynamic culture of self-improvement.
