Technology: Textiles Specialism

This is an exceptional opportunity for a Textiles specialist who is passionate about, and inspired by, a D&T approach to textiles teaching.  We are looking for a candidate who combines excellent subject knowledge, alongside the ability to continue to develop an already popular subject at all Key Stages and one that achieves outstanding results.   

The Textiles Department at Edgbaston High has a superb reputation.  One of our GCSE students recently won the National Fashion Design award for the North and Midlands, and our A level students have gone on to study textiles related degree courses including: Fashion at Central St Martins, London College of Fashion and Nottingham; as well as Engineering and Architecture. We are looking for someone who can uphold this and continue to inspire girls to pursue careers relating to DT and Textiles.
