A unique opportunity has arisen for an outstanding teacher to join our small Church of England secondary school as our Subject Leader for English.

The successful candidate will have experience of improving learning and progress beyond their own classroom and a proven commitment to helping shape the lives of young people.

If appropriate, there could be an opportunity of a whole school responsibility for the right candidate.

This is an exciting time for our school. We recently became part of the Southwark Diocesan Board of Education Multi-Academy Trust and are able to offer exceptional professional development opportunities.

The successful applicant will contribute to the wider life of our church school and:

• have a strong subject knowledge and a passion to share it with others

• be committed to their own professional development

• have strong interpersonal skills that enable strong partnerships to be developed with parents and the wider community
