Subject Leader of English

Tes is supporting the appointment of a Subject Leader of English to join a Academy based in Leeds.

You will have the opportunity to innovate, inspire, and raise achievement levels across the school while working within a supportive leadership team.

Their aim is to ensure that their students are given every opportunity to reach their full potential, regardless of their background. With this in mind, they are looking to appoint a Subject Leader who shares their vision for a learning environment and curriculum that is ambitious as well as supportive and nurturing. The successful candidate will promote a culture of excellence by providing outstanding subject leadership to enhance the strategic direction, vision and operational management at the Academy.

You will be joining a committed and passionate team who work hard to ensure that all of their students achieve their potential and are ‘proud to be part of a diverse community’. They are looking for an experienced professional who can demonstrate excellent leadership and management, and a proven track record of success in raising standards.
