Smart Teachers is recruiting for is recruiting for an engaging Subject Leader of History to join a “Good” school in Richmond, South West London. This full time Subject Leader of History teaching position will be available to start at the beginning of the new academic year in September 2018. The Subject Leader of History must be able to teach a timetable of KS3 through to KS5. The large secondary school which is set on expansive and spacious grounds are able to offer excellent facilities in all subjects.

In order to be considered for this role, the Subject Leader of History will need to meet the following criteria:

· Hold a Bachelor of Education / PGCE / or equivalent teaching degree 

· Currently be holding Qualified Teacher Status (QTS or QTLS) or eligible to obtain 

· Have recent proven experience teaching in a UK-based classroom

· NQT, experienced UK and/or OS-trained teachers welcome to apply

· Eligible to work in the UK (must have valid visa)

· Recent UK classroom-based references (or similar curriculum references) and valid DBS/police checks
