About the role

You will be required to be responsible for leading the subject of Maths across all Key Stages.

32.5 hours per week worked over 39 weeks of the year

· Qualified Teacher Status

· Evidence of recent professional development or in-service training

· Degree or equivalent professional qualification

· An understanding of Maths teaching

The academy opened in September 2012 and is sponsored by the David Ross Education Trust. It is a smaller than average secondary school that can provide tailored support for your child. We are a non-selective school and believe that all students should have equal access to a good secondary education. We have a wide catchment area taking students from Skegness, the surrounding area and as far as Boston, Alford and Louth.

The trust has made a strong contribution to improving the school's facilities, strengthening its leadership and improving the quality of teaching. Pupils' achievement has improved since the last inspection, especially in English, Mathematics and Science. Pupils made good progress in these subjects last year. Middle-attaining pupils did particularly well. Some pupils made excellent progress. The school's arrangements to safeguard pupils are strong. Pupils feel safe and know how to stay safe.”
