Bishop David Brown, a good school with outstanding features (Ofsted 2014), is looking for an enthusiastic and talented Subject Leader of Maths.    

We have a diverse student body that are eager to engage in everything the school has to offer both inside and outside the classroom.  Our core subjects are key to success and we want to employ a Subject Leader who will embrace the opportunities on offer.  We have a well-developed Maths curriculum that needs taking to the next level in terms of creativity and excellence.  We have enthusiastic teaching staff within the department who will support new initiatives with good subject knowledge.    

Bishop David Brown is situated near Woking in Surrey with close links to major road and rail networks.  The successful candidate will have many opportunities to enhance their leadership and management ambitions as part of our journey to outstanding.  The successful applicant will also become a member of the extended Leadership Team.  

We have a comprehensive range of professional development opportunities available for all staff and our staff care package ensures that access is available to many services such as wellbeing support and medical treatment.

Bishop David Brown is a rapidly improving school with excellent opportunities for professional development for the successful candidate.

The school is at the centre of a regeneration project of the local area that will see rapid change to the facilities and environment of local people.  Bishop David Brown has been identified by the local authority as a growing school that will double in size in the next five years.  This growth will also result in renovated and updated facilities for staff and students.
