We are looking to appoint an experienced, outstanding and well qualified teacher to lead our MFL Faculty.
The successful candidate would be expected to teach Spanish across the age range. Teaching French up to GCSE would be an advantage.
Language results within the area are outstanding. A progress score of 0.9 was achieved in 2017/18. 42% of students achieved a 7+ in Spanish and 27% in French in 2017/18. Over 60% of the year group chose a language at GCSE Level.
The post has arisen due to the retirement of the current post holder.
The school is committed to ensure that middle leaders have the required professional development in order to further their career. The school supports staff who are looking to obtain their masters qualifications or complete courses such as NPQSL.
The school is located within easy reach of central London via the District Line and easily accessible via the A13.

Dagenham Park Church of England School continues to be a good school.
Leaders have reviewed what they want pupils to learn and when they want them to learn it in all subject areas. This means that learning is planned and sequenced so that pupils can remember more and develop their skills. Leaders’ actions mean that pupils achieve well at this school. Teachers check that pupils can recall previous lessons through ‘do now’ activities. Teachers implement leaders’ plans well. Pupils’ books include good-quality work and show how the pupils are learning the planned subject content. Teachers and pupils assess the work in books and pupils correct their mistakes and misunderstandings
