Subject Leader of Modern Foreign Languages

Saint Bede’s Catholic High School is a thriving, oversubscribed and highly successful school. It is situated in the pleasant resort town of Lytham, with easy access to the motorway network. Saint Bede’s is a highly effective school viewed by the pupils as ‘an inclusive, safe and aspirational community’.  During our most recent Ofsted inspection (June 2018) Inspectors were ‘struck by the positive attitude, courtesy and the high levels of self-esteem consistently demonstrated by the pupils’.  Standards of attainment are high and pupils are well-motivated and keen to learn.

Governors of the school wish to appoint an enthusiastic, well-qualified and highly motivated teacher of Modern Foreign Languages to lead this department.   The department has an impressive record of academic success and the successful applicant will be expected to build upon this excellent track record and promote a love of learning a foreign language.
