The new Headteacher joins the school in April 2019 and is an advocate of the arts. He is determined to see this area of the school develop into a beacon learning area that showcases the gifts and aptitudes of the students here at Kings Langley School.

All subjects within the Arts Learning Area work collaboratively to provide students of all abilities, opportunities to be part of exciting and rewarding productions that involve art, dance, drama and music. The productions showcase the talent within the learning area as well as championing the various virtues of the KLS Character Education programme. 

As the learning area continues to grow the students will be provided with increased and diverse opportunities to engage with the arts which will help them further succeed in this popular curricular area.

You will:

  •  Be an outstanding practitioner who will contribute significantly to raising standards of teaching and learning
  •  Passionate about raising student achievement
  •  Be committed to supporting and enhancing our extra-curricular drama and performing arts programmes
  •  Ensure that all colleagues realise their potential through a carefully managed programme of personal and professional development
