Tapton is an Outstanding, happy and oversubscribed 11-18 comprehensive school standing in pleasant grounds, very close to the Peak District. PE maintains consistently high student outcomes.

You will need to be able to:

 Have the initiative, imagination and capacity to lead and inspire. demonstrating extensive subject knowledge and an enthusiastic advocate of 'sport for all' whilst building on the sporting success we enjoy at a Sheffield, regional and national level.

 Be able to work under pressure within a strong team focused towards challenging goals

 Show a commitment to a full and inclusive extra-curricular programme, leading the extensive provision that is currently on offer by example.

  Have accountability and oversee student performance at Key Stage 3, 4 and 5.

 Demostrate a strong record within  current department showing ways you have driven change and improvement in a specific area.

 Have excellent organisational and communication skills

 Share in our vision for realising the life chances and dreams of every child
