Taaleem is looking for qualified, enthusiastic, and passionate Subject Leaders to join our expanding Dubai Schools campuses in Al Barsha, Mirdif and Nad al Sheba, for the coming AY 2023 - 2024.

The main objective of the Dubai Schools Al Barsha, Mirdif and Nad al Sheba Projects is to create a mutually beneficial partnership between the government and the private sector that ensures Dubai’s aspiration to have 100% of Emirati Students enrolled in 'Good+' rated schools. 

This AY 23-24, all three Dubai School campuses will be adding Grade 6 classes and beginning their transition from Elementary Schools to Middle Schools, as they continue on their projected growth to become K-12 Schools.

 

The Role

Taaleem Dubai Schools are looking for the following Middle Leaders to join their growing schools and lead the transition into Middle School education.

  • Math Subject Leader
  • Science Subject Leader
  • English Subject Leader
  • Early Years / KG Leader


Each Subject Leader will develop a SMART action plan for their department, identifying areas of strength and areas for improvement. Subject Leaders are expected to provide evidence of, or action plans, designed to achieve the standards outlined by the Regulator and any applicable Inspection and Accreditation Bodies.

Responsible to the Head of School and ultimately the Principal, for the management and leadership of the teaching staff and delivery of the academic programme in the relevant subject area/department. This encompasses quality assurance, raising standards and tracking each teacher’s planning and delivery of the curriculum.

Requirements

  • A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant subject area and recognised teaching qualification or license
  • 5+ years of teaching experience
  • Previous subject or departmental leadership experience preferred
  • Experience with play-based, inquiry-based, project-based learning, or equivalent
  • Available to start April or August 2023

History of Taaleem

The origins of Taaleem began in 2004 when Beacon Education, a school management company was set up to develop and run high quality education projects. Beacon Education was created to meet the need for top-quality schools as the region’s population continues to grow.

Our first schools opened in September 2005 and two years later, His Excellency Nasser Hassan Al-Shaikh, Chairman of the Board of Taaleem, spearheaded a major ongoing investment in Beacon Education by National Bonds, a Dubai-based private joint stock company with around 50% ownership by the Government of Dubai.
