Royal Liberty is a small, oversubscribed comprehensive, 11-16 school for boys, located close to Gidea Park Station. We pride ourselves on our strong sense of community and the excellent behaviour of our students. As a result of the popularity of the school, we are expanding by one form entry from September 2018.
All students study Computing at Key Stage 3 for 2 hours a fortnight. The number of students taking either Computer Science and/or Business Studies at GCSE is positive.
The department is well resourced with access to a PC for each student. There are 2 interconnecting rooms which can be opened out for larger group teaching should this be appropriate. As a school, students have access to Google Classrooms and other online resources to enhance their learning experience.
In February 2017, we became an academy and joined the Success For All Educational Trust with Redden Court School. There are many opportunities for training and collaboration within the Trust.
We can offer:
- Excellent professional development and guidance
- A full induction programme
- Students who want to achieve their full potential
