Job start: Spring term 2018
Salary: Competitive, negotiable
Contract type: Full time
Contract term: Permanent
Are you a passionate, outstanding maths teacher?
Do you want to use your skills to inspire and coach teachers across a range of schools whilst continuing to develop your own expertise as a teacher?
Why not become a CfBT Schools Trust Subject Specialist?
CfBT Schools Trust (CST) is a family of 16 primary and secondary Academies and Free Schools bound together by its collaborative approach, its evidence-informed teaching and an emphasis on continuous learning for all. CST is sponsored by Education Development Trust, a not-for-profit international education company that transforms lives by improving education around the world.
We are looking for talented individuals to join a team of expert practitioners working across five secondary schools - all currently rated Good or Outstanding by Ofsted - to further improve the quality of teaching and learning in core subjects.
As a CST Subject Specialist, you will spend three days a week in the classroom at your base school developing your own practice as a classroom teacher, and the remaining week days at CST schools located in Peterborough, Dunstable, Oxford, Wokingham and Mitcham developing and supporting heads of department and other teachers.
Reporting to the Director of Secondary Academies, and working as part of a vibrant and high-performing team, this role will provide a superb opportunity for outstanding teachers interested in progressing to either senior leadership or further roles within their subject specialism. Accreditation as a Specialist Leader of Education (SLE) can be arranged for suitably qualified and experienced candidates.
For further details about this exciting opportunity, please contact Sandra Weston on 020 8685 6660. The closing date for applications is Friday, 10th November 2017 (9.00am)
Interview date TBC.
