We are proud of our Computing Team at Lilian Baylis Technology School. Results are improving year on year and new and innovative ideas are being implemented. We teach CIDA, GCSE Computing, AS and A level Computing and BTEC L3 ICT. We have excellent relationships with local employers, universities and a number of professionals support the school. We are also supported by the Worshipful Information Technologists (WCIT).
You will be a good classroom teacher who is eager to try new ideas in a supportive environment. You will have outstanding subject knowledge and be able to teach computing up to A* at A level.
If you are an NQT you will have a reduced timetable, support from a leading practitioner and will be able to start, if available, from 1st July 2016.
Lilian Baylis Technology School is a mixed, 11-19, inner city multicultural school located in a new building at Vauxhall, London. We have outstanding facilities including electronic whiteboards in all rooms and laptops for all staff.
In February 2013 OfSTED stated we were ‘outstanding in all aspects’. In addition our KS2-4 Value Added has been in the top 20% for the last 10 years and our KS4-5 Value Added was in the top 10% last year for academic and applied courses.
