Subject Team Leader

We are looking for subject team leaders who are passionate about developing their area of expertise. This post is part of the extended leadership team.

As a leader you will support our commitment to delivering a creative, broad and balanced curriculum. You would be responsible for providing outstanding provision and developing a team of staff. This role is a class based teacher role with regular release time given to develop your area.

The successful candidate will have:

• Proven experience of being an outstanding classroom practitioner
• Experience of developing teams 
• Excellent subject knowledge in one of the above areas
• Be an innovative thinker, learner and problem solver 
• Be a positive role model, who can lead and motivate others, 
• Be flexible and resilient
• Have high expectations of yourself and others 
• Have the ability to develop relationships with staff, children and their families
• Be passionate about improving the life chances of pupils
• Have the ability to prioritise work schedules, good time management and work well under pressure
• Be a team player
