SUMMER SCHOOL DIRECTOR

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Summer School Director who will have responsibility for many elements of the design, marketing and delivery of the summer courses. The post holder will also play a key role in ensuring that there is consistency between Concord’s Summer School in action and in the way that the courses are designed and delivered.  

The post holder must have strong business acumen with excellent negotiation skills and a proven ability to devise and run clear systems.  A full understanding of the importance of safeguarding is essential for the role, as is the commitment to the College’s aims and ethos that puts the wellbeing of children first in an inclusive, kind and family-orientated atmosphere.  The successful candidate will report to the Principal and the Bursar and will be responsible for the line management of the Summer School Administrators and the staff appointed to work on the College’s summer courses.  

The successful candidate will be approachable, respectful, act with integrity and diplomacy and possess strong leadership skills with the ability to forge and maintain successful professional relationships with students, parents and colleagues.  Excellent IT skills, with an ability to work efficiently to fixed deadlines, are also essential for the post.
