Job overview

Taunton School International (TSI) was set up in 1996 to provide a first step for international students from 40+ countries, wishing to complete their education in a British school. TSI runs Junior and Senior Summer Schools for a nine-week period in July and August; these are innovative, short-term courses that are attractive to a multitude of students and showcases the best that the School has to offer.


Our aim is to provide a safe, happy and respectful environment in which young people from different nationalities and cultures are nurtured, challenged and inspired to develop a love for learning and ambition to fulfil their own potential, as well as having fun and enjoying the experience that the Summer School brings.


We are currently seeking talented and enthusiastic people for a number of short term positions to support the Summer School provision; the roles available are:


·        Junior Pastoral Deputy Lead [32 hours per week, plus overnight; £750 per week]

·        Residential Pastoral Assistant [32 hours per week, plus overnight; £500 per week]

·        Pastoral Assistant [32 hours per week; £350 per week]

·        Matron [35 hours per week; £12.60 per hour]

·        Day Assistant/Driver [40 hours per week; £10.40 per hour]

·        Airport Arrivals/Departures Coordinator [12-14 hours per week; £200 per day]

·        Airport Arrivals/Departures Assistant [12-14 hours per week; £10.40 per hour]

 

The successful candidates will be attentive, energetic and highly motivated. The ethos at TSI is one of pastoral care, shared responsibility and positive contribution from every member of our community.
