Supply Teacher

The role:

The successful applicant for the post will deliver a broad and balanced curriculum in a thorough and inspiring way, on an ad hoc basis. 

The post would suit a teacher who is dedicated, enthusiastic and understands the benefits of single sex schooling.

The Department:

The Prep School broadly follows the National Curriculum through a creative curriculum approach rooted in the Chris Quigley Essentials model. Most girls in the Prep achieve well above national averages. In addition to the academic side of life, there is a rich programme of Music, Art, PE and Drama. We want our pupils to achieve their potential in every domain and play a full part in the life of the school.  Above all, we want happy and confident girls!

The facilities offer first class opportunities to challenge and stimulate the girls in their learning. Cranwell House houses Nursery to Year 4, the library, individual music rooms and the Discovery room, where Art, STEM and Food technology lessons take place. The Hope building houses Year 5 & 6, as well as the music room, dance studio and dining hall. All girls throughout the school like using their spacious, well-equipped classrooms and they enjoy the beautiful grounds.

Royal High School Bath is an academically selective, independent day and boarding school for 750 girls aged 3-18, situated in the historic city of Bath. The Prep and Senior Schools are both situated on the northern side of Bath, enjoying commanding views of the city and with good access to the A46 and M4.
