Job overview

We are looking for experienced, qualified Geography Teachers to join our Federation talent pool. If you are interested in long term supply or temporary work, we can offer a flexible, fairer, better-paid approach to securing casual work with one of our Harris secondary academies based in London and Essex.

Accepting work via our talent pool means you will work directly with our academies, not via an employment agency, and we do not use umbrella companies.

What we are looking for 

The ideal candidate will have strong subject knowledge and will be creative and passionate about sharing that knowledge with our students. Holding QTS (or equivalent) and a relevant undergraduate degree, you will be committed to attaining the highest standards and expecting excellence from our young people. You should have:

  • Experience of teaching students across Key Stages 3, 4 and 5. 
  • Be an individual who shares our common sense of purpose and high expectations of what student can achieve
  • Have the capacity and drive to develop their teaching and bring innovative ideas to the classroom and the department
  • Hold QTS (or equivalent) and a relevant undergraduate degree.

Our talent pool is a community of teachers and NQTs who support and work directly with Harris academies across London. As part of our talent pool, you will have the opportunity to work with several different Harris Academies.
