A great opportunity has opened up for an enthusiastic Support Lead.  

We are looking for someone who is patient and caring to work with children with in the Devereux ASD Base of St John Bosco Catholic Secondary School.   St John Bosco College sets high expectations for its students. This is a great opportunity to join a dynamic and friendly teaching team. It is also an opportunity for career development as the school offers a regular training programme.  

As a Support Lead you will:

• Serve the mission of St John Bosco College by supporting a high quality education to raise student wellbeing, emotional resilience and achievement.  

• Support teaching staff to maximise the delivery of learning and teaching.  • Provide pastoral care and spiritual growth opportunities to all students;  

• Mentor individuals and small groups of students who require additional support to overcome barriers to learning.  

Previous experience of supporting secondary aged students with SEN needs would be desirable but is not essential. You must have good literacy and numeracy skills. You must be committed and reliable with excellent communication skills along with a calm, patient and empathetic nature.
