Job overview
We are a comprehensive inner London secondary school with a diverse intake of students from a wide variety of backgrounds and cultures.
We are looking to appoint an experienced Support Leader of Learning to support young people in an educational setting who are experiencing difficulty with managing their behaviour in learning and achieving. You will encourage pupils to become independent learners and provide support for their welfare and work to support the inclusion of pupils in all aspects of school life.

Arts & Media School Islington is a co-educational, comprehensive trust foundation school in north Islington, London.
The Victorian school building was originally home to Montem Street School, later becoming known as Tollington Park Secondary School and, more recently, as George Orwell School.
In 2014, Arts & Media School Islington was selected to be one of 12 schools in London to participate in the Music in Secondary Schools Trust (MISST) programme, which aims to develop team-working skills, improve discipline and enrich the learning of students through the creativity of music.
Key stage 3 students at Arts & Media School Islington receive an orchestral string instrument alongside compulsory musical education for three years, all free of charge.
